| Remarks: | ILA 2006. Whit the merge of MBB into the new EADS group at Manching, D-FMBB was donated to the Messerschmitt Stiftung, also located at Manching. After years of inactivity, D-FMBB was restored to fly again and flew for the first time in front of the public at ILA 2002. Sadly it suffered an engine failure, grounding her again until the summer of 2004. The Gustav is back in the air and flies in colours used by the Luftwaffe around 1943, the code FM-BB don't represent any known Nazi Ace and only seem to refer to the registration D-FMBB. http://www.touchdown-aviation.com/ | |||
